A footnoted contest…

avi_front_mini.jpgEven with all the screens I have in place to sort through filings, when Q season rolls around, things invariably fall through the cracks. So I’d like to enlist the help of footnoted.org readers. And I’d like to offer a reward for the best find: a signed copy of Vitaliy “Contrarian Edge” Katsenelson’s new book, “Active Value Investing: Making Money in Range-Bound Markets”.

For those unfamiliar with Vitaliy, he’s a portfolio manager in Denver and an all-around nice guy. Smart, too! While I haven’t made it through the whole book, I’ve been impressed with what I’ve read so far and think the book would be a good addition to any footnoted.org reader’s bookshelf.

So send your best finds to footnoted.org (at) gmail.com and I’ll pick a winner by next Friday.

    Hi:

You should put an advert in The BetterInvesting Magazine. Or better still, a monthly column. They promote the idea of GARP. The magazine could use some good columnists. Maybe you could get them to buy a year’s worth of adverts on your site.
Maybe you could give a talk at your local state chapter or at their National Convention. They could use somer spice.
