Happy Birthday Ted! When I made the transition from govt bond portfolio managment to high yield bonds in 1991, the Quality of Earnings was one of the first books I bought. I have reread it several times, although the last was post Worldcom. In honor of your birthday I am going to go through it again over the Holidays!

Happy Birthday, Ted! I recently purchased the Quality of Earnings book and I find the advice still extremely relevant when determining earnings quality. He absolutely remains at the top of the list of examples of how digging in the filings can be very rewarding.
